The Botanicals in Bloom scent is intentionally subtle - strong enough for odor control but gentle enough that cats don't avoid the box. We've designed it to be pleasant for humans without overwhelming sensitive cat noses. If your cat is extremely scent-sensitive, we recommend starting with our unscented option.

Tofu litter is significantly lighter (easier to carry and pour), produces almost no dust, clumps better and faster, and is fully biodegradable. It also lasts longer because you're only removing clumps, not entire sections of broken-down litter. It's also made with food-grade minimal ingredients - just three, pea and soy fiber, corn starch and guar gum. It's safe for cats, humans and the occasional dog who comes around to inspect (ahem...) the litter box.

We do not recommend flushing cat litter. Dofu Cat cat litter dissolves in water but residue can build up in pipes and septic systems can't process it. Cat waste may carry parasites and we don't want it in our water systems. Always dispose of litter waste responsibly.

For a single cat: expect 2+ months with daily scooping. For 2 cats: typically 4-6 weeks. For 3+ cats: 3-4 weeks. Actual duration depends on your litter box size, scooping frequency, and individual cat habits.

It's "almost" dust-free, meaning significantly less than clay litter. You'll notice the difference immediately when pouring - no clouds, no settling dust on surfaces. There may be minimal fine particles, but nothing like traditional clay litter.

While most cats transition easily to tofu litter, every cat is different. We recommend gradual transition by mixing with current litter over 7-10 days. The natural texture and subtle scent are designed to be cat-friendly.

Yes. It's made from food-grade tofu materials, so while we don't recommend it as a snack, it won't harm your cat if they taste-test it. Many cats are curious about new litter, and this is completely safe.
